Western Canada Kiwanis District Governor Visit

McKenna Coran entered the history books at Kiwanis International on 10 Aug 2024 at the District Convention in Calgary, when she was officially elected as Kiwanis Western Canada District Governor for 2024-2025.

At that moment, she became the youngest person ever to become a Kiwanis District Governor. That says a lot about not only McKenna, but the Western Canada District as well.

Governor McKenna will be in Edmonton on Friday, 02 May, to meet will Division Six Kiwanians, their families and friends, as well as any others interested in learning more about Kiwanis.

An event is being organized for the evening at the Jerry Forbes Centre, (12122 68 St NW, Edmonton), beginning at 6:00pm.  Plans are still being finalized, however the evening will include a trivia night and a “bag auction”, where tickets are purchased and placed in bags as “bids” on various auction items (as shown in photo).

This event is also an excellent opportunity to bring guests and, particularly, in view of Governor McKenna’s achievements, younger prospective members.

Attendees are also invited to bring suitable items for inclusion in the bag auction.
Make sure to mark your calendars. Further information will be shared as soon as it’s available.
