Visit To Camp Health Hope and Happiness (Camp HeHoHa)
On 06 Sep, members, families and friends of the Kiwanis Club of South Edmonton will be heading west of Edmonton to visit Camp HeHoHa, situated on Isle Lake.
Camp HeHoHa provides safe and rewarding recreational summer camp experiences for children, youth, adults and seniors with physical or mental disabilities.
Camp, as we call it, originated through the efforts that three of our club members made over sixty-five years ago. It remains close to the heart with many of our members to this day.
Our visit is scheduled to be from 11:00am to 2:30pm. It will include introductions, a tour of Camp, lunch, and a boat ride (weather permitting).
There will be a Muscular Dystrophy camp that weekend so you will get to meet some campers as well.
It is important that we know who is coming and whether you have any dietary restrictions by 26 Aug so that the chef can order the food and be suitably prepared. We understand he is anxious to display his skills. You may let us know by responding to [email protected].
